Photo of 300 Poplar Street in Richland where Borough council was introduced Tuesday to a family that wants to establish three new manufacturing businesses in the borough. Charles Haddad, representing Ocello Inc., a company that owns two buildings on a four-acre lot at 300 Poplar St., told council the Musser family wants to purchase the property under the name Musser Property Management LLC. Various members of the family will then create three manufacturing businesses in the buildings.
Marlin Musser told council he plans to operate a water jet cutting plant that uses high-pressure water and sand to create specialized products from plastic and metal. He said the thin stream of water used for the process does not consume a lot of water. Rain water will also be collected off of the building’s roof and, if needed, he will drill a well for a supplementary water supply.
Daryl Musser wants to start an aluminum and steel fabrication business, and his products will include truck beds, railings and post drivers.
Banks Musser plans to do metal powder coating and could employ as many as eight workers. Jeremy Long -- Lebanon Daily News
